Starting from 2013, the Polish Chitin Society awards annually the Prof. Henryk Struszczyk Prize for outstanding achievements in the research and application of chitin and its derivatives.

Persons wishing to apply for the Prize are requested to send the required documents by e-mail (Prize Statue, point 5) to the e-mail address of the President of PTChit, Dr. Katarzyna Struszczyk-Świta (katarzyna.struszczyk@p.lodz.pl). 

The deadline for applying for the Award in a given year is June 30.
