The journal Progress on Chemistry and Application of Chitin and its Derivatives (PCACD) is an annual devoted to all aspects of the production, modification, enzymology and application of chitin and all its derivatives, including chitosan. The journal publishes both original research articles and reviews. Only articles that represent original research that have not been published or accepted for publication in another journal are considered.

Deadline for paper submission: February 28 (in 2025 the deadline for submission is March 16).
Papers submitted after this date will be considered for inclusion in the next volume.
The issue is published in print until September 30. The electronic version is published on the website until November 15.
