We cordially invite you to participate in the XXIX Conference of the Polish Chitin Society "NEW ASPECTS ON CHEMISTRY AND APPLICATION OF CHITIN AND ITS DERIVATIVES".
The conference will be held in Olsztyn on September 18-20, 2024.
Conference venue: Warmiński Hotel & Conference (https://www.hotel-warminski.com.pl/en/).
Conference language - English.
The co-organizer of the conference is University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, Faculty of Geoengineering.
Registration should be made via APPLICATION FORM available on the PTChit website from March 1, 2024 to June 30, 2024, additionally providing the title and authors of the presentation or poster.
The abstract of the presentation should be prepared using a template.
Conference fee:
The conference fee is 1100 PLN.
The discount fee for Ph.D. students, students, and pensioners is 950 PLN.
The conference fee should be sent until July 10, 2024 to the Society's account:

The conference fee covers:
- conference materials (book of abstracts in on-line version)
- all meals (lunch, dinner),
- gala dinner,
- conference trip.
The cost does not include the hotel fee.
Hotel fee (price when booking using the given password, price offer valid until September 10, 2024):
Single room (standard) 249 PLN/day/with breakfast
Single room (superior) 279 PLN/day/with breakfast
Single room (business class) 309 PLN/day/with breakfast
Double room (standard) 304 PLN/day/with breakfast
Double room (superior) 334 PLN/day/with breakfast
Double room (business class) 364 PLN/day/with breakfast
From September 11, 2024, rates will apply according to the day's price.
ATTENTION - rules for booking accommodation
For the purposes of the conference, 5 double and 30 single rooms have been pre-booked at the Warmiński Hotel & Conference until September 3, 2024. You have to book accommodation by contacting the Hotel (contact details or at the e-mail address rezerwacja@hotel-warminski.com.pl) until September 3, 2024, with the password "conference of the Polish Chitin Society." After running out of the limit of rooms or after September 11, 2024, the organizer does not guarantee accommodation availability and the prices indicated above.
- When booking a room, please provide: reservation dates, name, surname, contact number, room type, invoice details, and payment method.
- Payment method: 100% prepayment or 100% on-site payment.
- Reservations not guaranteed by prepayment will be held until 18:00 on the day of arrival, released after this time.
- The pool includes standard, superior, business class, single, and double rooms, which will be booked based on availability in individual categories.
- Hotel day: from 16:00 on the day of arrival until 12:00 on the day of departure. Possibility of earlier check-in depending on hotel occupancy.
- Parking places are not reserved and are occupied according to their availability.
- Invoices will be issued for "accommodation services 8%" and in the case of using a parking or garage, "parking 23%".
Additional fees:
– paid parking/garage: PLN 20/day for a passenger car/single room
– parking/garage: PLN 35/day for a passenger car/double room
