We cordially invite you to participate in the XXVII Conference of the Polish Chitin Society "NEW ASPECTS ON CHEMISTRY AND APPLICATION OF CHITIN AND ITS DERIVATIVES".
The conference will be held in Poznań on September 21-23, 2022.
Conference venue: IOR Hotel & Congress Center (www.hotelior.pl).
Conference language - English.
The honorary patronage over the conference was taken by the Rector of the Poznań University of Technology, prof. dr. hab. eng. Teofil Jesionowski.
Registration should be made via APPLICATION FORM available on the PTChit website from May 1, 2022 to July 31, 2022,, additionally providing the title and authors of the presentation or poster as well as the hotel booking date.
The abstract of the presentation should be prepared using a template
Conference fee:
The conference fee is 850 PLN.
The discount fee for Ph.D. students, students, and pensioners is 650 PLN.
The conference fee should be sent until 31 July 2022 to the Society's account:

The conference fee covers:
- conference materials,
- all meals (lunch, dinner),
- gala dinner,
- conference trip.
The cost does not include the hotel fee.
Hotel fee:
Single room 180 PLN / day / with breakfast
Double room 236 PLN / day / with breakfast
You pay the hotel fee at the hotel after your stay.

Free hotel booking cancellation until August 15, 2022.
The Polish Chitin Society makes the reservation of accommodation at the IOR Hotel & Congress Center. Please provide detailed information about the reservation in the application form.

GUIDELINES FOR ORAL PRESENTATION
Each presenter will be given a time slot of 20 minutes in total, which is distributed as 15 minutes of presentation and
5 minutes of answering questions from the auditorium. Prepare your slides as a PowerPoint or a PDF file.
GUIDELINES FOR POSTER PRESENTATION
Your poster should have the following dimensions: maximum A1 format - 59.4 cm wide x 84.1 cm high.
The poster board on which you place your poster will be marked with your identification number given in the Conference Book.
Other important information
On September 21, registration for the conference will be open from 4 pm at the IOR Congress Center (Poznań, ul. Węgorka 20). On this day, there will be a dinner for conference participants from 7 to 10 pm. The conference oral presentations will start on September 22 at 9 am.
