Guide for Manuscript Preparation

Manuscript, ready for printing, should be sent to Editor-in-Chief by e-mail.
After acceptance, the authors will be asked to transfer copyright of the article to the Publisher.

Manuscript

The preferred manuscript length for original studies is up to 12 pages B5 format, but longer texts are also acceptable. The text should be prepared in a ready-to-print form with tables and figures in the manuscript. The manuscript should be written in English using the Word editor.
Manuscript should be typed in Times New Roman, 10 pt throughout, in 1.0 line spacing. Required margins are all 25 mm.
The manuscript should start with the title, authors and their affiliation followed by Abstract, Key words.
All main headlines should be in bold, 12 pt: 1. Introduction, 2. Materials and Methods, 3. Results and Discussion, 4. Conclusions, 5. Acknowledgements, 6. References. Chapters as well as sub-chapters should be numbered using Arabic numerals: 2. Materials and Methods, 2.1. Chitosan, 2.1.1. etc.

A TITLE should be concise, but specific enough to alert the readers to whom the article is directed when seen in a table of contents, database, etc.
It should be written with CAPITAL LETTERS, 14 pt, bold.
The author(s) with the address(es) of their institutions - please provide one fully spelled-out given name (forename) for each author (12 pt, bold) and ORCID identification number. Corresponding author should be marked with an asterisk. Affiliation should be written in italic (10 pt).

Abstract: Each paper must be preceded by an abstract presenting the most important results and conclusions in no more than 100-150 words (12pt, single line spacing). The abstract should not contain any undefined abbreviations or unspecified references.
Keywords: Please provide 4 to 6 keywords which can be used for indexing purposes

1. Introduction: The Introduction should state the aim, purpose of the research work and give a short review of the pertinent literature (max. one printed page).
2. Materials and Methods: The Materials and Methods section should provide enough information to permit repetition of the experimental work.
3. Results and Discussion: The Results section should describe the outcome of the study. Data should be presented as concisely as possible, if appropriate in the form of tables or figures, although very large tables should be avoided.
The Discussion should be an interpretation of the results and their significance with reference to work by other authors.
4. Conclusions:
should contain summary of the most important findings.
5. Acknowledgements:
should be printed in italic.
6. Reference list: The list of references should only include works cited in the text and that have been published or accepted for publication. Personal communications and unpublished works should only be mentioned in the text. Do not use footnotes or endnotes as a substitute for a reference list.
Reference list entries should be in the order of appearance in the text and each should contain the full title of the cited paper. Papers should contain DOI, when applicable, e.g.:
    [1] Smith J, Jones M, Houghton L; (1999) Future of health insurance. N Engl J Med 965, 325–329.

Citation
Cite references in the text by numbers in square brackets, e.g. This result was presented in [2, 5, 13].

Figures: Figures should be numbered with Arabic numbers and placed in the text in numerical order. They should be delivered in the form of carefully prepared graphics made with black or colored lines on a uniform white background. Computer-created charts and drawings must be prepared in a resolution of 300 dpi or higher. Authors should pay special attention to the fact that the letters in the figure remain legible after size reduction.

Tables: All tables ought to be numbered using Arabic numerals. Tables should always be sited in text in consecutive numerical order. For each table, please supply a table heading. The table title should explain clearly and concisely the components of the table. Identify any previously published material by giving the original source in the form of a reference at the end of the table heading. Footnotes to tables should be indicated by superscript lower-case letters (or asterisks for significance values and other statistical data) and included beneath the table body.

Formula charts and Schemes: Particular attention should be paid to current conventions for drawing sugar ring structures (tapered thickening of forward edges, etc.). Structural formulas should be grouped for insertion in the text at appropriate points. Such groups need not have a caption, but those showing reaction sequences (i.e. containing arrows) may be designated Scheme 1, Scheme 2, etc. In charts and schemes formula numbers must follow in sequence across the page, except where a single structure with R groups represents two or more compounds. The sequence then follows the listing below the structure, which should be in "tabular" format.

Revision of papers: All papers submitted for publication in PCACD are peer-review by the Editor and after acceptation is sent to reviewers who are specialists in subject of the paper. Publisher applies a method of “single blind” revision.
When submitting a revised paper authors must list all of the reviewer's comments and indicate how they have responded to the comment, and where in the paper they have made appropriate revisions.
A rejected manuscript may be submitted again as a new submission provided that it has been substantially improved.

After acceptance: Corresponding author will be asked to sign a Statement and transfer of copyrights.
